Must Have Travel Beauty Products
When you are planning a short weekend trip, it makes the most sense to pack a carry on bag rather than check a bag. I always love traveling with just a carry on because when I arrive I immediately have my stuff and never have to wait around and risk hitting the rush of others also trying to fight over transportation.
The only thing I do not like about only packing a carry on is the “3.4 or less liquid rule.” I am a routine based person and traveling or not I never miss a single step in my skincare and beauty routine and I know I’m not the only one out there! When I travel, I ensure that I bring all of my holy grail products despite what the liquid limit is. Here are my top must have skincare and beauty products that I never forget— and if they are over 3.4 how I pack them!
Tips For Packing A Carry On
- Never worry about packing shampoo and conditioner unless you have travel sizes on hand — most hotels have them and if you’re visiting a friend ask to borrow theirs.
- Stop throwing away those samples! Throw all of the free samples and travel sizes you receive from brands in a container and when you’re traveling dig through it to find what you need — I save a lot of what I get from Birchbox for traveling!
- Separate your products by purpose — pack a small bag for cleansing, treating, eyes and hair — to keep everything separate in case it spills on your journey
- Think ahead — TSA does not care how large the container is, only the amount of liquid in it. Consider waiting to use up that last bit of your moisturizer before you go and opt to buy a new one for current use, saving that little bit in your old jar for your journey
